By using the Tweetsii Service, you consent to the use by Tweetsii, its affiliates and third-party vendors of any information or content you submit to the Tweetsii Service in the manner described in this Privacy Policy.
Introduction: Welcome to Tweetsii! GeoSolutions, B.V. ("Tweetsii") offers its Tweetsii Service to users of mobile devices utilizing Tweetsii’s software ("Users"). The Tweetsii Service is a social networking, search and location based suite of integrated mobile and web applications that enable users to share, view and upload pictures, video, text and points of interest with a tag to the User’s geographic location. Users can then (i) set up unique personal profiles that can be linked together through networks or clusters of friends, (ii) map and navigate to people, places and points of interest, (iii) share photos, videos and audio, and post journals and comments.
Location of Your Information: We collect, process, and maintain your information in the United States and other countries, where privacy laws may not be as protective as in your home country. By submitting personal information to Tweetsii, you consent to the transfer, storage, use, and disclosure of your personal information, as described in this Privacy Policy, in the United States or any other country selected by Tweetsii.
Collection and Use of Personal Information: Tweetsii may collect certain information from you as described below. Tweetsii uses information it collects from you to (i) authenticate your identity, (ii) customize the advertising and content you see, (iii) fulfill your requests for products and services, (iv) provide aggregated and anonymous reporting for Tweetsii or its third party partners, (v) improve the Tweetsii Service, and (vi) communicate with you regarding Tweetsii services.
* Registration Information: Tweetsii collects personal information which you knowingly choose to submit to us during registration and while thereafter using the Tweetsii Service, such as your name, screen name, email address, telephone numbers and age, to authenticate your identity, send notifications to you and other Users relating to the Tweetsii Service, to manage User accounts and to facilitate our compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
* Profile Information: Tweetsii also collects user profile data, including but not limited to personal interests and search criteria, gender, education, occupation, and physical location coordinates in order to assist Users in locating and communicating with each other and identifying common interests among Users. User profile information, including Users’ pictures and display names, are displayed in order to facilitate interaction through the Tweetsii social networking community. Email addresses are used when existing Users invite others to join the Tweetsii Service, and to send notifications, updates, and newsletters related to the Tweetsii Service.
* User-Provided Content: You post User Content on the Tweetsii Service at your own risk. Although we offer privacy setting options to limit access to your personal information and other content you provide, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you choose to share your personal information or other content. Accordingly, there is a risk that your personal information or content may be viewed by unauthorized persons or disclosed publicly by such unauthorized persons or other Users of the Tweetsii Service. Even if you and/or Tweetsii removes your personal information or other content from the Tweetsii Service, copies may remain viewable in cached or archived locations, including such copies made or stored by other Users on their own computers. Tweetsii is not responsible for any unauthorized use or disclosure of personal information or other content you submit to the Tweetsii Service, and disclaims all liability to you or any third party arising from such use or disclosure.
* Non-Personally Identifiable Information: Tweetsii also collects information, such as physical location, IP address, aggregate user data, and equipment/software configuration from Users, which, when not associated with a name, address, phone number or email address, is non-personally identifiable information. This information is used to manage and improve and track usage of the Tweetsii Service. Tweetsii may share non-personally identifiable information with third-parties pursuant to providing more relevant content, services and advertisements to Users. User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes.
* Cookies: A "cookie" is a small data file that can be placed on your computer’s hard drive when you visit certain Internet sites. Tweetsii uses cookies to collect, store, and track information for statistical purposes, to operate and improve the products and services we provide, to manage our network, to authenticate you when you use the Tweetsii Service, remember your preferences and registration information, and to customize the content of advertisements provided to you on the Tweetsii Service. Please note that if you reject or disable cookies in your browser, you may not be able to use the Tweetsii Service. Third party advertisers may use their own cookies, subject to their own privacy policies. We do not control use of these cookies and expressly disclaim responsibility for their content and use.
* Browser Information: Your computer or mobile phone sends information to every website you visit. Tweetsii automatically collects and stores this information, including your IP address, hardware platform, type of browser software and settings, Internet service provider, the locations you visit on the Tweetsii Service, and information from Tweetsii Cookies. We may associate this information with your personal information to resolve technical issues and promote security for our Users.
* Third-Party Data: Tweetsii may also supplement Users’ profile information with other consumer data, such as ZIP codes, demographic data, and other publicly available information obtained from third parties. Tweetsii uses this information to develop, administer and deliver our products and services and to permit third parties to deliver their products and services.
Sharing of Information:
* Third-Party Vendors: Some Tweetsii products and services may be offered to Users in conjunction with affiliates or third-party vendors. To provide these products and services, Tweetsii may share Users’ e-mail addresses and mobile telephone numbers and aggregated non-personally identifiable information with select third-party affiliates or vendors. These third-party affiliates or vendors may collect and maintain your personal information, but Tweetsii does not permit them to use or disclose such information obtained from Tweetsii for any commercial or marketing purposes other than to offer Tweetsii-approved products or services to Users and to administer and improve such partnership programs between Tweetsii and such third party affiliates and vendors.
* Third-Party Advertisers: Tweetsii may generate aggregate profiles from information provided by you during registration, online surveys, promotions, or other means. We may use this aggregated and non-personally identifying information, together with information on each User’s physical location, to display advertisements that appear on Users’ mobile devices. Tweetsii may also share such non-personally identifiable profile information with advertisers and other third parties in order to present Users with more targeted advertising, products, and services. Advertisements that appear on the Tweetsii Service may be delivered to Users by Tweetsii or by the third party advertisers through network advertising services. Third party advertisers that deliver advertisements directly to Users automatically receive the IP address associated with your computer or mobile device. These third party advertisers may also download cookies to your computer, or use other technologies such as Java Script and "web beacons" to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to tailor advertising content. Tweetsii does not have access to or control of the cookies that may be placed on your computer or mobile device by third party advertisers. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by Tweetsii and does not cover the use of cookies or other tracking technologies by advertisers.
* Special cases for sharing information: Tweetsii may disclose personal information or information regarding the use of its services if, for any reason, in our sole discretion, we believe that it is necessary to do so in order to comply with laws, regulations, or other valid legal requests for such information; to cooperate with law enforcement agencies; to disclose information that is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be violating our Terms of Use or other policies; to operate the Tweetsii Service; to protect Tweetsii, our services, our employees, or our Users; or in connection with a proceeding, transaction or proposed transaction involving the transfer of the business or assets to which the information pertains.
Links: The Tweetsii Service may provide links to other services, including links that may be placed by Tweetsii, third-party advertisers, and other Users. Tweetsii is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices of any other product or service not owned or controlled by Tweetsii.
Children’s Privacy: The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act restricts the collection and use of personal information pertaining to children under the age of 13. We do not allow such children to register as Users and will not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. No one under the age of 13 should provide any personal information to Tweetsii on or through the Tweetsii Service or otherwise. In the event we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will terminate the account and delete the information. Changing or Removing Information: Access and control over most personally identifiable information on the Tweetsii Service is available through profile editing tools. Tweetsii Users may modify or delete their profile information or deactivate their account at any time by logging into their account. Deleted information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time, but will not be generally available to Users of the Tweetsii Service. However, even after removal or deletion, copies of User information or content may remain accessible on the Tweetsii Service and/or in cached and archived copies made and stored by other Users. Email choice/Opt-out: Users who no longer wish to receive email updates or notifications from the Tweetsii Service may opt-out of receiving such communications by (i) following the instructions available on the Tweetsii Service or contained in an email sent to you by Tweetsii in response to an inquiry; or (ii) by logging-in and changing your account settings and deselecting the option: "Send occasional informational emails from Tweetsii". You may exercise your option to stop the use of your information for marketing by Tweetsii and disclosures by Tweetsii to third party vendors and advertisers. Terms of Use, Notices and Revisions to Privacy Policy: Your use of the Tweetsii Service, and any disputes arising from its use, is subject to this Privacy Policy as well as our Terms of Use, available on www.Tweetsii.com. Tweetsii reserves the right to revise, amend, or modify this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Use, and our other policies and agreements at any time and in any manner. Any revision, amendment, or modification will be posted on the Tweetsii Service. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by revision to this Privacy Policy, by email, and/or by means of a notice on the Tweetsii Service for a period of not less than thirty days prior to implementing such changes. Data Security: Tweetsii takes reasonable precautions to protect our Users’ personal information. We use reasonable measures to protect User personal information stored on the Tweetsii Service. We restrict access to User personal information to those employees who need access to perform their job functions, such as our customer service personnel and technical staff. Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of such personal information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of Users’ personal information at any time.
YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS. As of January 1, 2005, California civil Code Section 1798.83 permits users of the Tweetsii Service who are California residents to request certain information regarding the disclosure of personal information to third parties for such third parties’ direct marketing purposes.
